Global Success Center (“GSC”, “GSC Learn”, “we”, “us”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use gsclearn.com, our store, waitlists, payments, and GSC Portal (Moodle), and how we use it. Contact: jwong@gsclearn.com.
2. Information we collect
- Account & contact: name, email, phone, address (when provided), parent/guardian details, learner profiles.
- Enrolment & purchases: programme choices, tutoring subjects, order history, payment status, session credits.
- Learning activity: course progress, submissions, tutoring appointments, messages related to teaching.
- Technical: IP address, browser type, device data, cookies needed for login, language preference, and basic analytics.
- Communications: emails or forms you send us (e.g. contact or waitlist).
We do not ask you to invent or provide special-category data beyond what is needed to teach and support the learner. Payment card details, when used, are processed by our payment provider; we do not store full card numbers on our servers.
3. How we use information
- Provide programmes, tutoring, LMS access, and customer support
- Process orders, credits, cancellations, and refunds per our Cancellation & refund policy
- Schedule sessions, notify about class changes, and send service emails
- Improve site reliability, prevent fraud, and meet legal obligations
- With consent or where allowed, send product updates (you can opt out of marketing)
4. Sharing
We share personal information only when needed to operate the service, for example:
- Teachers and staff involved in a learner’s classes
- Hosting, email, and payment processors that act on our instructions
- Authorities when required by law
We do not sell personal information.
5. Children and parents
Many learners are minors. Parent/guardian accounts may manage learner profiles and bookings. We collect child information only as needed for education and safety. Parents may contact us to review or update a linked learner’s details.
6. Retention
We keep account, enrolment, and payment records for as long as needed to deliver services, resolve disputes, and meet accounting or legal requirements, then delete or anonymise when no longer required.
7. Security
We use access controls, encrypted connections (HTTPS), and operational safeguards appropriate for an education provider. No method of transmission is 100% secure; please use strong passwords and do not share logins.
8. Cookies
We use cookies and similar technologies for session login, language preference, cart/checkout, and essential site function. You can block non-essential cookies in your browser; some features may then stop working.
9. Your choices
You may request access, correction, or deletion of personal data we hold, subject to legal retention needs. Email jwong@gsclearn.com. You may also update profile details inside GSC Portal where available.
10. International processing
GSC is based in Thailand. Service providers may process data in other countries with appropriate safeguards. By using our services you understand that information may be transferred as needed to operate GSC Learn.
11. Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy. The “Last updated” date will change when we do. Material changes will be reflected on this page.
