1. Who we are
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) apply to websites, enrolment, store purchases, and learning services operated by Global Success Center (“GSC”, “GSC Learn”, “we”, “us”), based in Chiang Mai, Thailand. Contact: jwong@gsclearn.com.
2. Acceptance
By browsing our public site, creating an account, joining a waitlist, placing an order, booking tutoring, or using GSC Portal (our Moodle learning portal), you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy and Cancellation & refund policy. If you book or buy on behalf of a learner, you confirm you have authority to do so.
3. Services
GSC offers, among other things:
- Group courses and programmes (cohort-based)
- One-on-one tutoring packs and scheduled sessions
- Access to GSC Portal learning materials and tools
Descriptions on programme and tutoring pages are informational. Schedules, teachers, and delivery format (in-person Chiang Mai or online) may be confirmed at enrolment or booking.
4. Accounts and learners
You must provide accurate contact details. Parents/guardians are responsible for linked learner accounts. Keep login credentials confidential. We may suspend access for misuse, unpaid obligations, or behaviour that harms other learners or staff.
5. Payments
Prices are shown at checkout in Thai Baht unless stated otherwise. Payment methods may include PromptPay and other options we enable. Session credits and programme seats are fulfilled after successful payment confirmation. Taxes or bank fees charged by your provider are your responsibility.
6. Cancellation, refunds, and catch-up
All cancellation, credit-return, no-show, teacher-cancel, programme withdrawal, GSC-cancelled cohort, and catch-up rules are set out in our dedicated Cancellation & refund policy. By booking tutoring or enrolling in a programme, you agree to that policy. In short:
- 1-on-1 tutoring: cancel ≥12 hours before start → credit returned to pack; cancel <12 hours or no-show → session used; teacher cancel → credit returned.
- Courses / programmes: no cash refund for missed class days or casual mid-course withdrawal after the programme has started; if GSC cancels a cohort → full refund or transfer; catch-up while enrolled = LMS materials + recording when available + paid tutoring hour only (no free remake of the group live class).
7. Intellectual property and recordings
Course materials, branding, and platform content remain GSC’s (or our licensors’) property. You may use materials for personal learning only. Class recordings, when provided, are for enrolled learners and must not be redistributed.
8. Acceptable use
Do not disrupt classes, harass others, share accounts, attempt to access systems without authorisation, or use GSC services for unlawful purposes.
9. Disclaimers
Learning outcomes depend on the learner’s effort and circumstances. We do not guarantee specific exam scores, admissions, or career results. Platform availability may be interrupted for maintenance or factors outside our control.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, GSC’s total liability arising from a paid purchase is limited to the amount you paid to GSC for that purchase. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.
11. Changes
We may update these Terms. The “Last updated” date will change when we do. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms for future bookings and enrolments.
